Her Story

Joanne has been married to her husband, Jose, since 2000, and together they share 3 wonderful sons, Cristian, Jacob, and Matthew. She is an alumni of California State University of San Marcos, and has her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. 

Joanne has been working in childcare for over 20 years. Her Early Childhood journey began when her and her husband moved to Hawaii due to his military orders. She got hired at a private Christian Preschool, and fell in love with the field. When she returned to California, she worked at at a local Preschool, and in 2009, decided to open a home-based childcare. (It's all history from there!)

As a mother of 3, and decades of working as a preschool teacher, she understands how important it is to choose a childcare that is the right fit. She can assure you that at The Little People Preschool, your child will be loved, nurtured, and treated like our own.
