At The Little People Preschool, one of our highest priorities is ensuring that our teachers and staff are exceptional. We interview each teacher as if they will be teaching our own children and, in some cases, they will be. We go beyond the basic state requirements and look for individuals who embody and support our mission. We look for staff that are loving, caring, dynamic and have a commitment to our children at The Little People Preschool. 

Our prior home-based childcare had an excellent reputation in the San Marcos community. We hope to have the same in our new facility, and it all starts with our highly professional staff that are dedicated to making a difference in each child’s world.

Just like our children and families, we strive to make sure our teachers and staff feel at home when they enter our facility. We support our teachers with in-service training throughout the year in order to enhance and expand their classroom knowledge. 

All of our lead teachers are CPR and First Aid Certified, have a minimum of 12 units in Child Development, and have plenty of past experience working with children. Additionally, all of our teachers are staff have been background checked.
